FAQ
What is High-intensity Pilates? It is a slow-strength method that uses functional strength training and continuous intervals — on a modern reformer with heavier spring tension — to work all the major muscle groups to exhaustion in only 45 minutes. It’s great as the only workout you do, or alongside cardio and other strength routines.
When will I see results? Clients notice visible muscle tone within 3–10 classes. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week for the fastest progress.
How do reservations work? All classes require a reservation, which you can make on our Schedule page. In general, reservations must be made at least 10 minutes before the class start time, but we recommend booking at least an hour in advance if at all possible to give us time to tailor the class to attendees.
Is NONO LIMITS suitable for beginners? Yes, our workout can be modified to suit individuals of all fitness levels, including beginners. Our instructors will guide your positioning and adjustments to suit your needs and abilities. With that said, it is a continuous motion workout, so some familiarity with exercise terminology and positions like plank, lunge, etc., is helpful to keep up with your first class. Getting into position quickly leads to the most challenging workout, but it’s perfectly appropriate for a beginner to take more time between moves and limit their challenge level to their readiness for that day. Why 45 minutes? This class is highly efficient. 45 minutes is the ideal amount of time to challenge each major muscle group without overtraining. You’ll leave feeling strong, accomplished, and energized.
Is NONO LIMITS safe for individuals with injuries or medical conditions? Reformer exercises can be beneficial for individuals with injuries or medical conditions, but it is important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program. Our instructors can also modify exercises to suit your specific needs and ensure safety. We will encourage you to keep working out through muscle pain. You should not keep going if you are experiencing joint, spine, bone or heart pain.
How do cancellations work? You can cancel any reservation up to 10 hours before the class start time with no penalty. In order to fill our limited slots, cancellations made after the 10 hour window begins must be charged one class credit, or $15 for unlimited memberships.
How does the waitlist work? If a spot opens up in a class you have waitlisted at least two hours before the class begins, you will be informed immediately by email and be considered registered for the class. The cancellation policy will then apply. Lots of members who join the waitlist get into their class of choice! If you have not yet made it off the waitlist, you can remove yourself at any time with no penalty.
Starting two hours before the class time, if you haven’t made it off the waitlist, automatic registration will stop, but waitlisted clients will be notified via text if a spot opens, and you can cancel your waitlist registration and book that spot (first come, first serve in the case of multiple waitlist reservations).
To receive both the 2-hour+ spot opening notice and the regular waitlist promotion notice by text in addition to email, you must be opted in to text notifications. We highly recommend opting in for this waitlist communication, and we do not send a lot of other texts. You are free to opt back out at any time.
Can I bring a guest to work out with me? Guests are welcome and can be reserved via your package. Larger monthly memberships include a limited guest allowance.
